How to Find Your Google Analytics Code
Do you need to find your Google Analytics tracking code for your website? Google doesn’t make it easy to find, but here’s how you can do it.
When you sign up for Google Analytics, you’re given a script containing an unique tracking ID to integrate into your site. You will typically add this code to the <head> portion of your HTML, though this may vary depending on your site. Google gives you the code right when you signup, so if you immediately add it to your site, you may never think about it again. However, if you later change your site’s theme or want to add Analytics to another part of your site, you’ll need the code again. Strangely, there is no easy and obvious way to get your tracking script, but you can still find it. Here’s what you’ll need to do.
Google Analytics Benchmarking Live
Google’s new benchmarking section is live now in Google Analytics. If you opted in to the servive, you will find it in your site stats navigation at Visitors -> Benchmarking. You will then see a number of charts from sites of comparable traffic, so that you can find out if e.g. your visitors stay longer on pages than average, or if they visit more pages than average. Your own site’s traffic will be displayed in the usual blue, whereas the traffic of all the other comparable sites is displayed with a gray line. (Note that the invidiual charts graphics use sub titles, not headlines; this is formatted so it can be misunderstood.)
Make Money Using Adsense
Adsense is one of the things that has always intrigued me. (Before I forget, grab this blog’s free 55+ report on how to make money with adsense).

I promoted it in the standard way you promoted proxies at the time – social bookmarking swaps (Digg/StumbleUpon) mainly and for some reason it shot up to those levels in less than a week.
