Motorola and HTC have never been great rivals. It is so perhaps because HTC evolved when Motorola died but currently both the companies are on fire and hence the friction between these two is at the top-level. Motorola has recently announced the Motorola Fire and on the other hand HTC has already rolled out a great QWERTY phone named as HTC Chacha. Both the phones are touch and type.
