Samsung and Phones4U Preparing Mysterious Event on March 30

If you’re living on one of the central streets of London, namely you’ve probably already noticed the current window of the Phones4U office at Oxford Street. Or, if you’re far away from London, maybe you’ve heard about the window from one of your friends. Here it is:

Everyone is now speaking about this window, wishing to find out what event is actually advertised there and what phone Samsung is going to introduce. Let’s see what we know for now… First, the mysterious event will take place on March 30, which is this Friday. Second, this is the flagship Phones4U store in UK, the same one that was exclusively selling the Samsung Galaxy Nexus when it was just launched. So there is a chance that on March 30 Samsung will introduce some new device in this store. But what device can it be?

Of course, many of us think or hope it’ll be the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3. But most likely it won’t. The whole world is waiting for the new Galaxy S3, and I guess it will introduced at some grand event with thousands of people (remember the Battersea Power Station event where the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Nexus were introduced?), not at a small event in a Phones4U store, even if it’s one of the most popular stores in the UK.

So it won’t be the Galaxy S3 introduced on March 30. Most likely, it’ll be one of Samsung’s mid-range or low-end phones announced at MWC 2012. Perhaps it’ll be the famous Galaxy Beam with its powerful battery or something like that.

Anyway, March 30 is very close, so soon we’ll find out what event Samsung and Phones4U have prepared for us. Let’s just hope it’s worth waiting for!

Samsung Galaxy S III Rumored with Quad-core Processor, 3D Capability

The year 2011 had surely been the most wonderful and successful year for Samsung. The South Korean company has made a new history by selling more than billion units of its Galaxy smartphones in the market. Samsung has taken over Nokia as well as Apple in case of its Smartphone marketplace.   The company has not put a stop over there & is simultaneously baking something latest in its store, who knows whether Samsung will stand above iPhone 5 in the coming future.
Erstwhile Nokia was the king of mobile phones market, but today the scenario has totally changed. Today the company fails to attract the customers because of missing Android stuff or you can say bad strategy; whatsoever it is but the company is suffering from a failure this time.
On the other hand, Samsung has taken over the command through its Galaxy line of Smartphone’s which are considered as the key behind the success of the company. Samsung the biggest Smartphone maker in the world is planning to give the mid-range customers a chance to experience some high-end device.

The day we posted, how to Root Samsung Galaxy Y, people were even more desperate to know how to unroot the device more than rooting it. They are right at their place, because the strongest reason behind clearing the path of unrooting the device is to claim the warranty of the phone at the service center incase something went wrong with the device.  By the way, if you haven’t purchased this phone yet, you can check out the hands-on review of Samsung Galaxy Y.

Why people fear from rooting? It’s because rooting VOIDS warranty and if in the rooting process you got your phone bricked, you cannot go anywhere. On the request of our beloved readers, I researched about unrooting the device and come up with this article.

Galaxy Nexus-The Wait is Over, from Google and Samsung

So, the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone has just been announced, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Tasty.
Let’s start with the specifications: the Galaxy Nexus packs a dual-core 1.2 GHx Texus Instruments OMAP4460 processor. A mouthful indeed, but it basically means it’s as fast as the Galaxy S2. It comes equipped with 1GB of system memory, double the amount you’ll find in an iPhone 4S. The phone shoots 1080p video and has a five-mega-pixel rear camera with an LED flash, but shutter lag’s now a thing of the past. Your picture just saves instantly, enabling you to carry on snapping.

galaxy tab 750 and My experience with it

Manish Tiwari, Vice President at Hindustan Unilever claimed that the gadget, i.e. Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 have increased their productivity. Now, their supervisors who have the work to move from one place to another can have all information handy. Also they can check their progress, scheduled task, improvement in work at some section, better connectivity with fellow people etc.

A member of Indian Parliament added that Samsung proposed them to use their Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 in the parliament and by judging the benefits of the use of the gadget, they said “Yes”. They also added that using this tablet will ensure more productivity at lesser time. It will also help in reducing massive paper usage which is common in parliament. I knew that few of the Parliament members may be techie but a majority must be noobs to use the tablet. And then answering to the query arising in my mind, the parliament member said that it will be tough to make all members use the tablet, but it won’t be impossible. Samsung will be helping in this case by providing apps suitable to their needs. Also the parliament members are also showing interest about the tab.

Another thought plunged in my mind, Is it the right time to opt for an alternative to iPad? Is it the right time to opt for better tablet? Yes, says Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 with a tagline – It’s Time To Tab.

Truly said. It is indeed a time to tab with Samsung Galaxy Tab 750, thin like iPad 2, but lither than it. It is the sexiest tablet so far. Based on Honeycomb technology, the tablet gets very close to iPad 2, even matched to it. Yes, no-nonsense aesthetic.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 comes with dual powerful speakers and two cameras – rear camera of 3-megapixel and front camera with 2-megapixel. From design point of view, the Tab has not struggled like other Honeycomb tablet to match the same appeal which iPad has. iPad 2 is 8.8mm in thickness where as Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 is 8.6mm. In weight the Tab is 565g, which is 36g lighter than iPad 2.

The Tab is outstanding with marvel of engineering. In hand it can be mistaken with truncated version of Samsung LED HDTV that is market leader. It has an ideal balance between pick-up-and go e-book reader similar to Kindle 3 from Amazon and 10-inch tablet. So, watching movies is perfect on a long car trip on Samsung Tab 750.

I managed to get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 a.k.a 10.1 from my USA return cousin brother for 1 day usage. I became so charmed with the tab as if I’m a Snake and the tab is a Snake charmer.

As, I said, I had the chance to use the tab, so I tested it to the extreme extent I can and came up with the below given:

Let’s discuss the features, apps, performance, memory, connectivity and more of the Tab in details:

Performance – All the apps and videos that I have run on Samsung Tab 750 run pretty fast without any hiccup. It is very smooth and very responsive.

Apps – I tried downloading and syncing all the apps from my Android phone with Google account. Few non-Honeycomb compatible apps didn’t downloaded like anti-virus and stock market, otherwise rest were okay. It saved lots of time. Anyway, most of the games were downloaded easily to the Tab and it worked without any hitch.

Memory – I tested on 32 gig version and this is too vast memory to fit the entire inventory of my office files. So, no worries with memory anytime.

Connectivity – Many critics may have lamented about the lack of ports but for me I didn’t missed anything without it. The WiFi is good enough to move data. In an updated information it is learned that Samsung is soon coming up with adapters for their proprietary port. So, if anyone asks for a file on a flash drive or wants to put on their own projector or computer, then it is easy. But, frankly, I feel, the Tab is self-contained and it is easily accessible through cloud and WiFi. So, again saying, for me, the lack of ports is not an issue.

Keyboard – The virtual keyboard of the Tab is quite large and fine. To do more typing I used Menotek flexible Bluetooth keyboard, and it worked fine, syncing immediately. Moreover, the keyboard is very portable to carry in my briefcase. In fact, what I feel, the combination of Samsung Tab 750 and portable keyboard is a nice substitute for a laptop.

Battery life – Now the time is 0100, and I unplugged the Tab at 0600. I used it all day on and off with emails, docs, downloads, YouTube videos and more. Still I see 20% battery left after 19 hours. This is not bad. When I unplugged, it reported about 80% charged. It was put on charge for 5 hours.

Every good thing on this earth does have something bad along with good in it. So do have Samsung Galaxy Tab 750, though for me it is meaningless. Ports (USB/micro-USB jack) are missing in this tablet, which may be a problem to (just) few users. Moreover, it has a plastic back that gives the feel of less solid than the iPad 2. This bad is also meaningless to me.

The Features Which Excited Me The Most :

If I have to say about a single feature, then I’m much confused. If I mention the ‘Beauty’ of the Tab to be the most exciting, then the ‘Hardware’ will become upset for my words. If I consider the wonderful, better say Awesome Battery Backup. then the “High Resolution Super Amoled Display” will hate me.

In my scenario, I’m a Blogger whose work involves moving from one place to another to attend several meets, product Launches and some regular travel too. And carrying a bulky laptop was never my preference. Thanks to the Samsung Tablet. It will surely help to reduce burden of my backpack. The tab also possess High Power 7000 mAh Battery, enough to support my all day activities, or watching movies when I’m traveling back to Home.
