Few days back, I talked about one of the most scared problem in Samsung Galaxy S 2 i.e. Infinite Booting Loop Problem. However, in that I shared few of the various solutions for resolving that issue. Out of those solutions, one solution is to go back to stock ROM which worked for me.
In this article, we will learn how to download the stock ROM and how to install it in your phone. First for this process, you need a fast speed internet connection because the size of stock ROM is 300+ MB and make sure you have a data cable with you.
How to download the stock ROM for Samsung Galaxy S 2?

You need to create an account before downloading any ROM. After creating an account, scroll down the page and under Firmwares click on Smartphone and new option will arrive and then choose “Android” and then go further and make the right choice.
After selecting the right device, a list will be prompted. The list consists of all the latest ROMs available for various countries. You have to select the ROM in accordance with the country you belong to.
A zip file will be with you of about 300MB. Next, we need Odin v1.83 which will flash the stock ROM on Samsung Galaxy S 2.

- Make sure your phone is charged minimum of 70%
Steps to Install Stock ROM on Samsung Galaxy S II
Note: In this article, the ROM version which I am talking about is Android 2.3.5. Make sure you take backup of your phone contents before performing any operation of rooting or flashing stock ROM.
Step1: Extract the contents of Stock ROM zip file, you will get following files
1. CODE_I9100XXKI3_CL577579_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5,
2. GT-I9100-CSC-MULTI-OXAKI3.tar.md5,
3. MODEM_I9100XXKI3_REV_02_CL1062028.tar.md5,
4. Odin3 v1.83.exe,
5. u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit,
Step2: Open Odin on Your PC.
Step3: Switch off your phone and restart it in Download mode using the following key combination
Volume Down + Home Key + Power button
You will see a screen, it will ask to cancel the download mode or continue with it by pressing volume up button.
Step4: Now connect your phone with your PC and you will get a “Added!” message in Odin. Now select files in Odin as following:
PIT = u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit,
PDA = CODE_I9100XXKI3_CL577579_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5,
PHONE= MODEM_I9100XXKI3_REV_02_CL1062028.tar.md5,
CSC = GT-I9100-CSC-MULTI-OXAKI3.tar.md5
Note: Make sure, only Re partition, Auto reboot & F. Reset time are checked.
Click on start button and wait for few minutes. Your phone will restart automatically and you will see the Android setup wizard, Yay!
