How to make iPhone 3g faster

1 Download Firmware

Normal or Unlocked?



You should choose Normal release only if you can legitimately activate you device via iTunes AND you don’t need carrier unlock (so you are using the original SIM card or your iPhone is factory unclocked). All other users should choose Unlocked firmwares. If you are not sure use Unlocked firmwares. Unclocked firmware need a Push-Notifications patch after the installation. iPhone 3G firmwares only include Activation: you have to install Ultrasn0w via Cydia after installation. Both Normal and Unlocked firmwares includes jailbreak and Cydia.

2 Put your iPhone in DFU mode and prepare for firmware update

-Open iREB RC4 and push iPhone 3G
-Follow the instructions in the posting on youtube

-Hit ok and close iREB
-Now your iPhone is ready and prepared for firmware update


3 Firmware Update

-Open iTunes and wait for recovery dialog apear
-Press and hold SHIFT button and clik on restore button on iTunes
-Show firmware to iTunes and hit ok
-Now your iPhone is updating with that firmware


4 Make more smoother,faster,easier 

-Open Cydia(firmware included)
-Add repo repo.insanelyi.com
-Search for Speed Intensifier and install it
-Search for Speed Intensifier addon and install it
-Open Winterboard and activate all 3 patch for Speed Intensifier addon
-Respring
-Done
