Mobile operating systems are the things which people always look for. The most famous operating systems are undoubtedly Android, iOS, Windows Phone and Blackberry OS. To make sure that their OS don’t become old and stagnate, updates are made to their platforms which gives the user more open choices but at the same time confuses him/her.

All of these operating systems are dominating the world and there is very high competition between them. 1. iOS 5

Apple is the most desired company in the world. It sells its products at high costs and yet have a so large fan base. All its products have its own operating system which is known as iOS. Recently, the 5th version of iOS was released. Here are some great features of this OS.





  • Apps: “There is an app for anything”. A huge number of apps are available in the app store of Apple. Some paid apps and some free apps. All kinds of apps are available. So, anything you need, search in the app store and you may find it.

  • Voice Typing: Typing is much easier when you don’t actually type. You speak and Android recognizes and converts the text which lets you search, send messages, etc. without the need of typing.
  • Updated Contacts Interface: The contacts interface has been made more better and efficient. Looks are totally great. This new look puts people’s important information, including social networking updates, in one place.

Windows Phone 7.5 is also known as Mango. Microsoft is yet another big company looking for good results. They have tried their best to make Windows Phone the best mobile operating system. It is stylish, edgy and attractive. The latest update has tons of features. Let’s know about them.
  • The Metro Look: Maybe the best thing Windows Phone has. The great metro look which has the beautiful tiles which let you know about the updates such as missed calls, messages, etc.

In design and elegance, iOS 5 and Windows Phone 7.5 is neck to neck. The less devices support for iOS 5 and Blackberry OS 7 may make it special but at the same time, restricts its availability. Android is currently the top mobile operating system. Windows Phone 7.5 is getting more and more phones to support it and make it more famous.
Winner: It was very difficult to choose a winner. This time, I would like to choose Android 4.0 because it is from Google and we all know how awesome Google is. Also, Android has tons of features to entertain the user. It is no doubt the best mobile operating system.
