HTC is doing a great job with its phone market in India. It has already planned to launch almost 20 new smartphones, by next year which will definitely take it to the whole new level. The latest among all the announced phones from HTC is HTC Rezound. It has got tons of awesome features.
On the other hand is HTC Titan, the phone which is seeing a good response from the side of the public making it a sort of head ache to Samsung and Apple. Now, let us see what happens when both, HTC Rezound and HTC Titan face each other in a showdown.
Form Factor
The dimensions of HTC Rezound are 129 x 65.5 x 13.7 mm which gives it the total size of 4.3inches. On the other hand, the dimensions of HTC Titan are as follows 131.5 x 70.7 x 9.9 mm which gives it the total size of 4.7inches. The weight of HTC Rezound is not known but the weight of HTC Titan is 160 grams. The size of HTC Titan is quite large than that of HTC Rezound, this will perhaps attract more teenage customers because they always search for phones with large displays.
Processor
HTC Rezound – 1.5 GHz dual-core Scropion processor
HTC Titan – 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor
The HTC Rezound is having a good amount of clock speed, and so is of HTC Titan. The processor of both the phones are the scorpion processors. HTC Rezound is having Adreno 220 GPU while HTC Titan is having Adreno 205 GPU.
Display

The display type of both the phones is same. But the HTC Rezound is having HTC Sense v3.5 user interface but on the other hand the UI type of HTC Titan is still not revealed. The display size of both the phones is the best among the latest types.
Camera

The resolution of both the cameras is really fine, anyone can click some good images from that piece of plastic. The HTC Rezound is on the better side, because its camera is also having dual LED flash which comes very handy when we click pictures at night. On the other hand HTC Titan is on a good side too but HTC Rezound threw HTC Titan out of the box.
Operating System
HTC Rezound – Android OS, v4.0(Ice-Cream Sandwich)
HTC Titan – Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango
HTC Rezound is having the OS of the year – Android but on the other hand HTC Titan too is having the latest version of Windows OS and that is v7.5 Mango. Both the OS’s are really magnanimous but I think HTC Rezound is better than HTC Titan in this catalog because Android is more famous, more versatile, more app support etc.

Data Connectivity
Data connectivity in today’s world is one of the top most priorities any company faces. Every company wants its customer to exchange data with others in as easy way as possible. The more data connectivity features a phone has, the better it is. HTC Rezound supports 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, WLAN and USB. On the other hand HTC Titan supports 2G,3G, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, USB etc. This is quite clear that the data connectivity features of HTC Titan are more than that of HTC Rezound.
Memory
HTC Rezound – 16 GB storage, 1 GB RAM
HTC Titan – 16 GB storage, 512 MB RAM
The memory of both the phones is 16GB internal memory with 1GB RAM in HTC Rezound and 512MB RAM in case of HTC Titan. The internal memories are same though the RAM’s are different. The HTC Rezound will perhaps work faster than that f HTC Titan because of its more RAM. The best part about HTC Rezound is that its memory is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card but HTC Titan has got fixed internal memory.
Battery
Battery life is necessary for all of us. We all usually don’t, always, have access to electricity and hence it becomes really hard for us to charge our phones. So it’s always advised to get phones with nice battery. All what is revealed about the battery catalog of HTC Rezound is that it is powered with a Li-Ion 1620 mAh battery. HTC Titan is having a standard battery, Li-Ion 1600 mAh which keeps it running for 360hrs(2G) on standby and 460hrs (3G) on standby. We can even talk for 11h 50mins (2G) and for 6h 50mins(3G).
Price
Price of HTC Rezound is though not officially announced but according to our calculations it will be somewhere around Rs.34,000 or $750 and the HTC Titan is expected to be priced at Rs.33,000 or $733. The price difference is not much but the feature difference is quite large.
Dreambloggers Verdict
I “personally” think that you all should go with HTC Rezound but only on one condition that the price difference between these two phones won’t be more than Rs.3,000 or $60. If the price difference is less than $60 that its better to go with HTC Rezound because it has got sizzling features, brand name, quality etc.
