In accordance with the yesterday news about “Idea Cellular planning to launch their self-brand Android smartphones in India” is now confirmed. Today Idea Cellular’s first Android smartphone has been revealed and it is manufactured by leading Chinese Handset manufacturer “Huawei”. The name of the first self-branded handset is Huawei Idoes X1 Gaga.
Huawei Ideos X1 Gaga is not a high-end Android smartphone but an entry level smartphone with basic features. You might be thinking that you have already heard about this phone earlier, then you are right, this phone is already being sold by CDMA telecom operator MTS under MTag 3.1 moniker.
Huawei is an OEM and it provides its handsets to various telecom operators and other manufacturers, which are further rebranded by purchasing companies. The handset is expected to be rebranded with a different name, which is officially not announced yet.
The expected price of the device would be around Rs. 5,000. Stay tuned for further updates.
