You can fix all the issues only with the full version in UniBlue SpeedUp My PC 2011. After the issues were fixed, we measured application launch times and thumbnail generation speed. Adobe Photoshop, which used to take 17 seconds to launch, now took two seconds less. The boost in thumbnail generation wasn’t so perceivable because the caching mechanism of Windows 7 is pretty good. The boot-up time also improved by a few seconds, but again, it wasn’t too significant. Cleaning up temporary files is a good feature, but it should also have been able to clean up browser cache and junk data. Freeware like CCleaner do a much better job.
